Geçen dönem yaptığım projelerimden biri. İsmi Memento , hepiniz mementoyu o meşhur filmden hatırlarsınız büyük olasılıkla ama benim ilgilimi daha çok çeken bu latince kelimenin anlamı oldu. "Hatırla!"
Pek çok kişi projelerimizin nasıl geliştiğini soruyor. Bu proje ile örneklendirmek gerekirse, çıkış noktası hayatımızın en önemli noktalarını işlememiz söylendi. Projenin genel taslağı şöyleydi.
Project Name : NO CONTROL
Estimated Project time : 4 weeks
This Project aims to discover and expose edges of individual designing
tones through own ‘’ top ‘’s.
The most importants, the bests, the most memorables, the most
sorrowings, the most cheerfuls,exc… will be the ‘’top’’s and will be base
of all student’s own concepts.
Objectives :
1- Students will have a sketchbook to document all their ideas as a process book.
Proccess book will include 3 parts;
1st – Researching and reflecting
2nd – Developing the ideas
3rd – Transferring to shapes and designs
2- All students are free to choose the concept, market and the line.
3- Developing moulage skills (creating patterns in three dimensional space) with
surface manipulations.
4- Creating a new contemporary look with alternative designing ways.
Requirements :
1- Sketch book (all base your own drawings, photos, objects, designs and fabric-
trim manipulations, exc..)
2- Look book (will be placed in sketch book; includes 40 styles in different
4 seperate collections)
3- Concept Board ( will be the most powerful looking of the Project)
4- Two different outfits with technical sheets.
Tasarımlarımızı bir anda çizmeye başlamıyoruz. Yukarıda fotograflarını gördüğünüz sketchbook , tasarımın oluşmasına kadar beynimizden geçen süreci yansıtıyor. Kumaş manipulasyonları, konseptin gelişim süreci , tasarımların etkilendiği noktalar...
Bu projemde ben kendime ait garip bişeyi işlemek istedim. Benim çocukluguma dair hatırladıgım anıların pek çoğu fotografları olan anılarla kısıtlıdır, bir nevi fotograflanan herşeyi beynim anı olarak hapsederken, fotograflamadıgım zamanları unutma yoluna gidiyor diyebilirim. Örneğin hani şu hepimizin mutasyon sürecinde olduğu ergenlik döneminde kendimi hiç beğenmeyip 3 yıl boyunca pek çok fotograf çekiminde kaçmışım. Ve o 3 yıla ait akılda kalan pek te anım yok diyebilirim. Bazı durumlarda iyi bazı durumlarda kötü olan bu alışkanlığımı işlemek istedim bende. Anıların insanların hafızalarında nasıl yer ettiği üzerine gittim, konu konuya baglandı, sonuçtada fotograf çekimini yaptığım bu kıyafet çıktı. Açıkçası beni pekte yansıtan bi tasarım degil, değişik bi kalıp üzerinde çalışasım geldi, hevesime kurban gitti diyebilriim. Umarım seversiniz:)
